Lily of the Valley Bar

Lilly Of The Valley is, of course, named for a beautiful and fragrant flower of the same name. Known as "glovewort" in England, this bell-shaped flower is blamed in Irish fairy tales for waking babies in the night. They claimed that small pixies would tap on the flowers and ring them like bells, creating a sound so soft only a newborn baby's ears could hear it. Some even say the fairies were trying to tell people the flower can be used as a restorative salve, as it was later discovered to have medicinal properties and was used to treat sore hands after being ground with a mortar and pestle.
